With the nation in the grips of one of the biggest economic downturns in history and money tight hard up families have resorted to the un-thinkable GRANNY DUMPING this is the human equivalent of Fly-Tipping which is already a Federal Crime in the US, has now crossed the Atlantic we don’t mind the Yanks sending us a Big Mac ‘n’ Fries but we draw the line at this.
What’s Granny Dumping I hear you ask? Well it’s when a family can no longer afford to take care of their elderly loved one and they take them out for the day often to the seaside or a park and then just abandon them on a bench with the clothes they stand up in and a bag of fish ‘n’ chips.
Your Daily Sport have even heard of one poor old dear who wanted to remain nameless, who was even asked if she was on the game, when she was abandoned in a park in one of the less well off parts of our country and to add insult to injury she was only offered 50p for a bit of the other.
