Crazy Tornado has become well-treated and having caught the eye last time out looks worth a punt at 7/1 in the 5.45 at Ayr today.
The Keith Dalgleish trained five-year-old travelled well for much of the contest out wide before keeping on to finish a 3 1/2 length seventh of 12 to Highwayman at Hamilton.
He shaped far better than the bare result indicates and it was a step back in the right direction.
Crazy Tornado is now able to race off 2lb lower and a revised rating of 58 is 5lb lower than when last successful at this venue 12 months ago.
He went on to finish a 3/4 length runner-up, also here, off 69 so is undoubtedly weighted to go in again at any time.
Crazy Tornado is also 1-2 in class 6 company, so taking everything into account looks to have plenty going for him in this weak looking affair.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Crazy Tornado (7/1 bet365, BetVictor, Coral – BOG)
