Cheltenham Festival Tuesday Tips: Up For Review a 16/1 each-way play in Ultima

Up For Review looks on a handy mark at present and worth an each-way punt at 16/1 in the Ultima Handicap Chase (2.50). This Willie Mullins trained 10-year-old and has won two of his six starts over fences, finishing placed on two other occasions. He opened his account over the larger obstacles at the second time of asking last season when scoring easily  by 15 lengths at Gowran Park and was then far from disgraced when a 16 length fourth of nine to stable companion Al Baum Photo in the Grade 1 Ryanair Gold Cup Novice Chase at Fairyhouse off an official rating of 152. Up For Review was then not at his best when a well-beaten eighth of 18 to Kemboy in a handicap at Punchestown but quickly bounced back to round off the campaign with a 4 3/4 length success at Killarney. He has had just one run this season and put in a really solid effort when a 12 1/4 length third of 18 to Invitation Only in the valuable Thyestes Handicap Chase at Gowran Park off a rating of 146 where he held every chance two out before being unable to find any extra approaching the last and weakening on the run-in. It was a big performance following 254 days on the sidelines and Up For Review looks sure to come on a ton for it. He is also able to race off an unchanged rating and that makes him a big player at the weights on the pick of his form. Up For Review is also versatile as regards ground and hails from a yard in fine form with a terrific record at this meeting – so has far more going for him than his odds would suggest.

Daily Sport recommended bet – posted on twitter 5.50pm 10/03/19: 2pts each-way Up For Review (16/1 Boylesports – BOG)
