Fanfan Du Seuil looks nicely treated on handicap debut in the Fred Winter (4.50) and decent each-way value at 20/1. This four-year-old won his sole start over hurdles in France and was in the process of running a big race on debut for trainer Tom George at Chepstow when in third place and coming to grief at the last. He looked booked for third and the runner-up Quel Destin is unbeaten in four subsequent starts and now rated 146. Fanfan Du Seuil then got off the mark on good style next time up at Exeter when beating Our Power by five lengths and lost little in defeat last time out over course and distance when headed late on and beaten just a length into second behind the now 134 rated Nelson River to whom he was attempting to give 3lb. Those efforts suggest an opening mark of 136 is exploitable and he appeals as the type to come into his own now going down the handicap route. His course form is another plus and Fanfan Du Seuil undoubtedly has more improvement left in the locker.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Fanfan Du Seuil (20/1 bet265 – BOG)
