Queensbury Boxing League welterweight champion Danny “Relentless” Stalford believes challenger Anthony Ayinde will be running scared next month, when he faces him in the main event of the league’s latest big fight night.

The big hitting 26 year old champion from Surrey will make the first defence of his crown against Kingston’s Ayinde in a mouth watering top of the bill clash at the Copthorne Effingham Park Hotel in West Sussex, and Stalford is confident his next performance will be the best of his career after a punishing training camp in preparation for the big night.

Danny Stalford Action

Stalford was last in action back in June when he demolished co challenger Daniel Ratcliffe to lift the vacant title with a stunning first round knockout victory, and the man dubbed “Relentless” feels more than ready to send Ayinde home empty handed as he targets another dominant display.

“ When Ayinde feels my power in that ring on October 24th he’s going to be running scared, and I’ll hunt him down and not give him a chance, said the champion.

“ I’ve watched all three of his title fights with Ashley Dansie in the league and he’s a tall, clever boxer who looks awkward to fight, but I know what I’ve got to do to beat him and that’s all I’m focussing on.

“Since my last fight I’ve been working a lot more on my strength and conditioning and the nutrition side of things, and you’ll see the best Danny Stalford there has ever been when I step into the arena next month.

Stalford’s first title defence will take place on Saturday October 24th at the Millennium Copthorne Effingham Park Hotel in West Sussex, and for more information on the rest of the line up visit www.queensburyboxing.co.uk
