Thounder hot stuff at Huntingdon

Thounder has been knocking on the door of late and is strongly fancied at 5/2 to gain a deserved success in the in the 3.35 at Huntingdon today. Gary Moore’s five-year-old has won two of his sevens tarts over the obstacles but failed to shine won seasonal reappearance. That run came in a very competitive Listed class 1 contest at Sandown where was never travelling at any stage on bottomless conditions and was pulled-up two from home. Thounder the unseated early next time up before putting in a much better effort when  a 2 1/4 length second of nine to Falcon Sun at Leicester. He also ran a blinder last time out when a 1 length third of 11 to Dyliev over course and distance – travelling powerfully when making a costly mistake two from home. Judge on those runs his current mark of 118 is exploitable and Thounder is a course and distance winner. He also has a 40 per cent strike rate in this grade (class 4) and this looks a weak affair and a golden opportunity for him to get back on the scoresheet.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Thounder (5/2 general – use BOG firms)
