Dawn Catcher has become dangerously well-treated and looks worth a wager at 7/1 in the 2.20 at Lingfield today now eased in grade.

Geoffrey Deacon’s mare enjoyed a terrific 2014 when winning four times, with the last of those successes coming in a class 5 contest at Nottingham off a mark of 75.

Dawn Catcher also ran well to finish third in a class 4 handicap at Ffos Las back in August off 79, and is now able to race in this lower grade class 6 affair off just 65.

That is a mssive 10lb lower than when last successful and gives Dawn Catcher major coiams on the pick of her form.

This also represents the easiest task that Dawn Catcher has faced for some time, and with Timmy Murphy in the saddle everything looks in place for a big run.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Dawn Catcher (7/1 BetVictor, Coral – BOG)
