Bryght Boy shaped really well last time out and at 4/1 rates the best bet on this evening’s card at Sandown (6.35).
Ed Walker’s charge put in a much improved effort on handicap debut at Lingfield when third of 10 to Packing.
After being held-up in a slowy run affair by Antonio Fresu, Bryght Boy had to be switched right a furlong from home before finishing strongly to be beaten just 1 1/2 lengths.
It was a cracking effort given how the race panned out, especially as he got little assistance from the saddle.
With Luke Morris now taking over the three-year-old looks weighted to open his account off an unchanged mark of 63.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Bryght Boy (4/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
